Welcome to The Pennsylvania Jousting Club
|

In early 1999 a handful of Pennsylvania residents decided that there was a need for a
Pennsylvania State Jousting Club. It was decided that the best way to accomplish this
was to hold a Pennsylvania State Jousting Championship. In September 1999 the first
Pennsylvania State Jousting Championship was held at Wizard's Knoll Farm, the home
of Jean and Dale Donhauser. The tournament was an unbridled success and Mrs. Peggy
Hoffman, the Maid of Dragon's Lair, was crowned the first Pennsylvania State
Champion. Pleased with the turnout of riders and the success of the tournament an
informal meeting was held following the tournament where it was decided that the PJC
would be founded with the nomination and acceptance of the following officers: In
1999 our first officers were:
President: Jean Donhauser- The Maid Of Wizard's Knoll
Vice President: Peggy Hoffman- The Maid of Dragon's Lair
Treasurer: Pam Richardson- The Maid of Black Rock
Secretary: Gloria Hammerstein- The Maid of Bay Glen
